CANCELLATION POLICY FOR APPOINTMENTS AND SERVICES

Please be advised that all reservations for services and treatments can be canceled by notifying us at least 5 days in advance. Any modification must be notified by telephone, in person or by e-mail to reservas@espagat.com. If the minimum notice period (5 days) is not met, it will not be possible to cancel, thereby forfeiting the appointment.

GENERAL REGULATIONS

The user who fails to pay any amount incurs an automatic default without the need for a prior request, and Espagat will proceed to send the file to its legal claims service to adopt the measures that legally protect it. In any case, the subscriber will be responsible for the expenses generated by the return of the receipts and the compensation for the damages that legally arise from said noncompliance.

Subscribers have at their disposal, both on the web and on the different bulletin boards at the complex, practical advice and rules for the proper use of the facility during their stay. Please read it and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our staff.

PRACTICAL TIPS

Our commitment to all subscribers is that they be able make optimal use of all the facilities.

To achieve this, read these tips carefully:

  • Follow our instructors’ advice.
  • Do not forget to take your bottle of water to hydrate while you train.
  • Food is not allowed in the dressing and training areas.
  • Use the daily-use lockers in the changing rooms to store your belongings; do not forget to empty them when you leave.
  • If you wish, we have lockers for rent to store your personal belongings and not carry them with you each day.
  • The use of a towel and gloves is required during training (to avoid soiling the machines with sweat for the next user). We recommend the use of a pulsemeter (heart rate monitor).
  • To avoid injuries, wear appropriate footwear and sportswear; instructors can help you choose the most suitable.
  • Use the machinery for each exercise properly. If you have any doubts, please contact us.
  • Do not forget to put the equipment in place once you have finished your training.
  • Damage caused by negligence or bad faith in their use will be repaired or replaced at the expense of the person responsible for said damage.
  • It is necessary to wear a swimsuit, towel, cap and flip flops to access the pool or spa, showering before entering and always walking with caution to avoid slipping or tripping.
  • Verbal and / or physical violence will not be tolerated, keeping silence in common areas, especially in the cafeteria, beauty and spa area.
  • We are not responsible for the loss, damage and / or theft of valuables that you leave in the lockers or in the common areas.
  • We reserve the right of admission temporarily or permanently.

In accordance with the content of Organic Law of Protection of Personal Data 15/1999, the data of the contract holder (member) and the people reflected in it, will be included and treated in a member file whose administrator is Espagat. The user expressly authorizes Espagat so that their data can be used in other related activities as well as for carrying out commercial and marketing information campaigns. Interested parties may exercise their right of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition of their data, by writing and providing a photocopy of their ID or equivalent document, in the terms provided in the Law, to the person in charge of the File: Espagat, calle Fernando III El Santo, 12 under 15701 Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña (Spain).

SPECIFIC REGULATIONSIndefinite, determined and Family Group memberships

The contract holder will have the right to enjoy the facilities. Membership is personal and non-transferable, and the user cannot under any circumstance assign his / her card or provide any data to another person so that he / she can access the facilities. In any type of membership, not using the facilities or not attending an activity, does not release the member from the corresponding payment.

Depending on the contracted fee, the member will be entitled to enjoy certain services. The details of these services are displayed on the fee chart at the facility.

You can sign up any day of the month by applying the prorated part of your monthly fee along with the corresponding registration fee.

Depending on the contract signed, membership has a specific minimum duration, which has been freely agreed to. In this respect, both parties state that the term is a condition that is of special essence in this contract, and that therefore it must be complied with in all cases.

If during the first 14 calendar days from the date of signing the contract you are not satisfied, you can request immediate withdrawal by paying only the registration fee if you have not used the facility, or if you have used it, you will also pay the proportional part of the monthly fee until the moment of termination.

In long-term contracts, if the subscriber does not express their intention not to renew at least 20 calendar days before the expiration of the last term, the contract will be extended automatically under the same conditions. In monthly contracts, you will only have to notify us of your desire not to continue, with a minimum of 20 calendar days prior to the beginning of the next month.

Your contract rate may be revised once your contract has expired.

Member declares that he or she is in good physical condition and has no knowledge of any medical condition that precludes active or passive physical exercises in the gym. In addition, Member agrees to consult with his or her doctor about the physical exercise to be performed, so that it is not harmful to the member’s health, safety, comfort or physical condition. With the signing of this contract, the member exonerates Espagat from any liability for damages, injuries or even death, which occur in the Gym facilities or during activities organized outside, as a result of the use of equipment and materials provided for member’s use. In case of detecting any abnormal health symptoms, Espagat may exercise the right to require the client to undergo a medical examination to check his or her health status. Any expenses generated thereby will be paid by the member.

Payment will be made via direct debit. In the case of a long term contract, a credit / debit card will be provided to serve as a guarantee against defaults or returned payments. Payment will be made in advance and will be charged to the member’s account on the first business day of each month, except for the first month, which may be paid in cash or by card.

SPECIFIC REGULATIONSMembers with time limitations

The contract holder will have the right to enjoy the facilities. Membership is personal and non-transferable, and the user therefore cannot under any circumstances assign his / her card or provide any data to a different person so that he / she can access the facilities. With any type of membership, not using the facilities or not participating in an activity, does not release the member from making the corresponding payment.

Depending on the fee selected, the member will be entitled to enjoy certain services. These will be reflected both in the client file and on the issued receipt.

Member may sign up any day of the month by applying, on the selected fee, the prorated part of the monthly fee, along with the corresponding registration fee.

Members who have purchased a certain activity will have the right to absent themselves a maximum of 2 months (between July to September) without having to pay the registration fee again. In the event of an absence at any other point during the year, the place in the activity will not be guaranteed, nor will the member be freed from payment of the new registration, unless he or she pays a reservation for each month of absence.

If during the first 7 calendar days from the date of signing up, the member is not satisfied, he or she can request immediate cancelation, paying only the registration fee if he or she has not used the facility; if the facility has been used, member will also pay the prorated part until the moment of termination.

  • Access is allowed only with swimsuit, cap, bathrobe / towel and flip flops.
  • Members must shower before entering in order to eliminate creams and other substances on the skin that could harm water quality.
  • To avoid slipping, it is mandatory to walk with caution in wet areas. Use the stairs and railings wisely to enter and exit the bathrooms and pools.
  • Minors over 7 years of age should change in the corresponding locker room.
  • To maintain a proper atmosphere in the changing room, children should change in the area reserved for them.

Will be made by direct debit except for the first month, which may be paid in cash or by credit card.
